When breastfeeding is not working
When breastfeeding is not working or the milk is not enough, it feels to many as a defeat and some may also feel a failure at motherhood. Instead of bothering yourself with the feeling of inadequacy, you can console yourself that you did what could. Whatever the reason that breastfeeding does not work, so it is important to remember that:
- to be a good mother is not the same as being a nursing mother
- to be a good mother has many more qualities than just to produce milk
- to give a child love and warmth is independent of your feeding options
