Restless children

Is your child restless and have difficulty concentrating? Perhaps the answer lies in nutrition.

Ideally, one should have a balanced diet with all nutrients. There has been much focus on fat and carbohydrates in the recent past, but our body needs both fat and carbohydrates.

e-material

The good fats in fish are particularly important for preventing / reducing the concentration difficulties and restlessness. But the point that perhaps not everyone thinks so much on the presence of a large number of additives in our food. Before anyone draws hasty conclusions, it would be appropriate to point out that most so-called e-drugs are completely harmless and important for the food industry. There are many controversial e-substances in food, and recent studies indicate that some of the additives in food has adverse effects on our health. Head of the FSA, Atle Wold recently said to Bergens Tidende's online edition that some e-substances can have adverse effects on persons with hypersensitivity. It is proven allergic reactions to many of the usual additives and preservatives found in our food and Children are especially prone to developing allergies. Many researchers also believe that it may be associated with increased hyperactivity, cancer, multiple sclerosis and other diseases / disorders. Research on e-substances' effects are relatively new and in research circles, there are many who believe that one should act for "precautionary" principle and reduce to a minimum. Not later than January 16, 2011, there was an article that addressed the issue. A new EU regulation concerning food additives are introduced in Norway in 2011 and there are manufacturers required to label products with azo dyes with the warning: Can have a negative effect on children's behavior and concentration. This is E102, E104, E110, E122, E124 and E129 .

E 102: found in ice cream, gum, licorice, powder products, etc.
E 104: liqueurs, toothpaste, cake decorations, etc.
E 110: caviar, capelin roe, jams, drugs ...
E 122: candy, candy, drink mixes, jams etc.
E 124: caviar , salami, dressings etc.
E 129: Cake mixes, cocktail mix mm sweeteners are much debated and especially Aspartame (E 951) contained in a series of light products. Sugarless gum, diet soft drinks and supplements are often added to these sweeteners. People with Foaling illness and children under 3 years is not recommended to use aspartamprodukter. Has been linked to cancer, multiple sclerosis, migraine and low serotonin levels, but this is no proven side effects. Because of the enzymes in the fabric that is common in brain suspect also that it can provide an imbalance in the levels and increased risk of hyperactivity. There are also a number of other e-substances which are allergenic, nor should be given to individuals with hypersensitivity and hyperactivity disorder. An overview of the different E numbers stand for can be found.
